The 240 hp X7.624 model is nominated for the Tractor of The Year 2025 award in the new MidPower  category.

McCormick X7.6 is equipped with the FPT NEF 67 6-cylinder engine that meets Stage V emission requirements. The VT-Drive continuously variable 4-stage transmission allows a top speed of 50 km/h to be reached (in eco mode and where permitted). The IFS independent front suspension (hydraulically suspended and electronically controlled) guarantees high comfort and complete driving safety on the road and in the field.

The newly designed Clever Cab offers a 14 percent increase in interior space and a 16 percent increase in glass surfaces for better visibility. The heat-insulating door windows are made of Comfort Sky – a special blend developed by Saint Gobain – and compared to traditional glass, they ensure a temperature differential of up to 6 degrees, as well as reducing noise. The new position of the handles also allows for easier entry for the operator. On the outside, there are LED light clusters, both front and rear, while inside there is a new infotainment system, which can be integrated with Apple Car or Android Auto, new rear-view mirrors and a new space in the refrigerated compartment.

Finally, the controls have been redesigned to be even easier and more convenient to reach, while the dashboard and digital interfaces have been enhanced to offer an increasingly satisfying user experience. The panorama is completed by new automotive-style plastic interior trim and a 4-speaker Alpine audio system. The new digital cluster, positioned behind the steering wheel, benefits from a clean design and integrates new functions, in addition to communicating with the 12-inch DSM Plus touch monitor  .

Among the features of the McCormick X7.6 VT-Drive transmission, the SmartPower Zero function, ensures that the tractor remains stationary after the reverse shuttle is engaged, offering greater comfort to the operator during transport and field operations, as well as when attaching equipment. McCormick EazyGrip  is the system that automatically manages tire pressure, optimizing fuel consumption and traction, while reducing tire wear and ensuring optimal pressure at all times, from the road to the field.

The McCormick X7.6 hosts mechatronic systems to support driving and fleet management, from  PSM – Precision Steering Management (assisted satellite guidance system), to the McCormick Fleet & Remote Diagnostics Management system for real-time fleet control, analysis of data from the tractor, remote maintenance scheduling and activity history via data storage. The tractors are then digitally integrated with McCormick Farm, an App created to facilitate the management of the farm from an agronomic point of view: the tractor is connected to an intelligent and intuitive system supporting more than 400 different crops. Using the McCormick Farm App it is possible to view performance and job reports, accessing prescription maps and identifying boundaries and obstacles. This allows for optimized management of each area of the farm.
