An old sugar factory in Idaho Falls, Idaho, was destroyed by a fire reported at 7:45 p.m. April 27, according to the Idaho Falls Fire Department.
When firefighters arrived at the shuttered facility, at 3075 E. Lincoln Road, flames engulfed the factory’s cooling towers.
The structure was a total loss, according to a press release. Adjacent grain storage facilities were not damaged, officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
