The Senate Ag Committee has announced a farm bill field hearing next month in Michigan.

Ranking Member Debbie Stabenow says the farm bill is critical to Michigan agriculture, and she’s committed to making sure the state’s agricultural voice is heard again.

Chairman Pat Roberts says the first field hearing in Kansas was a success, and he looks forward to hearing from producers across the country.

The 2018 Farm Bill Field Hearing is scheduled for Saturday, May 6 at the Michigan State University Saginaw Valley Research and Extension Center in Frankenmuth. A list of those testifying will be released at a later date.
